Vietnamese youth community organizations operating in Prague

This bachelor thesis deals with the Vietnamese youth organizations which are based in Prague. The specific aim of the thesis is to describe these organizations and to identify the reason why people participate in them passively. The motivation for participation is examined through in- depth personal interviews with selected respondents. It is found that building the new social relationships and strengthening the existing ones as well as acquiring new knowledge and skills are the most motivating factors. One of the next motivations is also significantly influenced by the national factor, which means that the participants of these organizations are, with some exceptions, Vietnamese nationals.
